We currently have an excellent opportunity in our New York or San Francisco office for a Lawyer Development Analysis & Reporting Coordinator.
This position will be responsible for the set-up, maintenance, effective use and functioning of all of the technology related systems that support the firm`s attorney talent model program and staff performance review process. This includes the attorney and staff performance review processes and other programs.
Responsibilities:
• Set–up, maintain, and execute the technical administration of the firm`s Attorney and Staff Performance Review system.
o Develop and launch new review processes and other viDesktop forms for various attorney and staff populations as necessary.
o Set up initial reviewer-reviewee relationships, including branching (relating titles to specific forms) and reviewee population.
o Respond to change requests, including editing review form and other issues which affect the Performance Review Process.
o Assist users with basic questions about how to access and use the system.
• Run regular and ad hoc reports on attorney performance and compensation using viDekstop, PeopleSoft, SQL, Access and Excel. Convert reports into presentation quality graphics using powerpoint and other analysis and presentation software.
• Assist in the maintenance of all attorney information systems and databases, including data entry and auditing.
• Assist in ensuring data integrity for attorney information in systems throughout the firm.
• Work closely with Manager of Lawyer Development – Analysis and Reporting on all technology related systems that support the firm`s Lawyer Development process.
Qualifications:
• A strong knowledge of computer programs and technology systems.
• Strong knowledge of Excel required.
• viDesktop and Access experience strongly preferred.
• PeopleSoft experience a plus.
• Proven understanding of complex data systems. HRIS knowledge strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills. The ability to work with users at all levels and to help solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion.
• Creative problem solving.
• Demonstrated client focus and service orientation.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience in Human Resources preferred.
• Bachelors degree in a business or technology related field.
